Lab-scale slitting for sample preparation
IMC lab slitters provide precision slitting in compact configurations for process development and sample production. These systems handle the same thin, delicate materials as production slitters — including battery electrode foils, coated films, and specialty materials — at lab-appropriate widths and speeds.
Available configurations include shear slitting and razor slitting heads, adjustable width positioning, precision tension control for delicate substrates, and rewind stations for producing finished sample rolls. The systems are designed to produce sample rolls with the same edge quality and roll structure as production slitting.
